Observation #9 – Cooperation in Space

Arthur Woods / 01/10/2017

Resident artist Arthur Woods highlights some positive developments in the Geopolitical scene. A recent announcement between the European Space Agency (ESA) and China about a potential cooperation in the development of the ESA proposed "Moon Village" expands the sphere of cooperation that ESA has maintained over the years. In a similar development, though they are political foes on Earth, at this year's IAC congress in Adelaide, Australia,  Russian and US space officials announce their intent to cooperate in the development of a lunar space station called the Deep Space Gateway. This kind of international cooperation may lead to a lessening of tensions on Earth.
