Greater.Earth Changing Our Perception of the Cosmic Dimensions of the World

Arthur Woods / 22-12-2019

In this Voices.Earth podcast interview, we speak with Arthur Woods, the resident artist of Greater.Earth, which is an effort to promote a new perception that is based on Earth’s true cosmic dimensions to catalyze an optimistic path to a sustainable and prosperous future.

When we think of Earth, we often limit our perceptions to the solid dimensions of the planet. In reality, our world encompasses its full gravitational influence, which is 1.5 million kilometers in all directions from its center.

The resources within this expanded view of the world can help enhance ecological sustainability, environmental restoration, clean energy generation, global prosperity and international security. This is the premise behind Greater.Earth, an artistic endeavor to advance efforts to discover and inhabit the last reaches of our own planet.

Arthur is the resident artist behind this effort. He is a renowned artist who has had his art installations featured in the Russian Mir Space Station. He’s also passionate about enhancing the livability and sustainability of our planet, and a true fan of the .Earth domain – which actually influenced his overall work.

“When I saw that the .Earth domain name was available, I thought ‘wow’ this is fantastic, if I can get Greater.Earth that would be so perfect,” said Arthur. “Registering the domain name actually stimulated me to work on the Greater Earth concept, which I have been working on since 2016.”
